"The Dreamlife Method gave me a foundation on which to start rebuilding myself. Coherence has now become a daily part of my life, and I enjoy every moment I can spend in that pleasant state. It works!"
Martin brought the Dreamlife Method into my life at a time when I was at my lowest mentally and emotionally. Everything had somehow come crashing together, and every day I found myself thinking very dark thoughts as a way out. Having two small children at home while getting my own company off the ground and growing it had left me exhausted and in a very poor physical and mental state. The Dreamlife Method gave me a foundation on which to start rebuilding myself, because it gave me a complete picture of the fundamentals of how my body, mind and spirit work, and showed me that keeping the system running means tending to each aspect separately and giving each one continuous attention – otherwise the whole machine crashes, which is exactly what had happened to me.
Coherence has now become a daily part of my life, and I enjoy every moment I can spend in that pleasant state where healing happens and where I can plan my next steps. Interestingly, the heart knows the answers. Coherence practices let us see whether the heart agrees with our plans and intentions, or whether they are merely desires of the intellect that are easily influenced by external factors. I often use coherence to solve problems. The HeartMath sensor immediately shows whether the heart agrees or not, and whether I am making decisions using only my intellect or through cooperation between my intellect and my heart. If the heart does not agree with what is intended, the long-term result is a broken body and a crashed system.
Here is one example from a situation a couple of months ago. I was fishing on Lake Võrtsjärv with friends when I suddenly received a call about a failure in one of my company's most important systems and the loss of its operational continuity. It was extremely time-critical and needed immediate attention. Otherwise everything would have ground to a halt, sales would have stopped and the company would have been left lifeless. I asked to be taken ashore. On the way to the harbour we were caught in a thunderstorm, and as we travelled through it I was on the verge of a panic and anxiety attack, without even knowing where to begin looking for a solution. I got into my car, drove a little way off and pulled over by the roadside. I took out my sensor and breathed myself into coherence. In that state, the answers came to me on their own. When I had finished the meditation, I started driving home and making phone calls. During the hour to hour-and-a-half drive, I resolved the whole situation and delegated tasks to everyone involved. It took a few more days to get everything running again, but it all went so smoothly because I behaved differently. In the past, a blow like that would have left me anxious and acting frantically for the rest of the day, perhaps even the whole week. This time, I acted calmly and with a clear mind. It works!
I should add one small disclaimer here. Coherence is a powerful tool once you understand it and know how to use it. Reaching that point takes a great deal of work on yourself, effort, and practice in using the tool. Otherwise it is very easy to say that you tried it, that it did not work, and to go on looking elsewhere for a magic wand. Those who crack the code never look back – coherence gives new meaning to life for them, allowing them to see the world with fresh, open eyes and to feel and live with their heart.
